What We Do
The nation’s first four-year college for students who learn differently, Beacon College is a pioneer in postsecondary education for students with ADHD, dyslexia and other learning differences. Student success can be measured by the College’s graduation rates, which far exceed the national average for all students. In 2022, Beacon College has been ranked the #1 school for students who learn differently for the 5th consecutive year (Best Value Schools) and recognized in the top 10 of southern colleges by U.S. News and World Report. Recently, Beacon College has been making headlines for its revolutionary work in college readiness for students who learn differently. Beacon's family-centered programs begin preparing students and families for the realities of college as early as their sophomore year of high school, including virtual and on-campus options. Beacon's regional transition experts partner with high schools nationally on college readiness tools, assessments and programming that lift outcomes for students who learn differently.
